Tasting Notes

Golden colour

A fresh springtime beer. Amber in colour, Castle Bitter has a touch of grapefruit with floral and citrus notes on the nose. Crafted from Maris Otter malts and a combination of Northdown, Brewers Gold and Willamette hops.

There was a Saxon Castle at Brill as early as 650 AD. This was rebuilt in about 1050 by Edward the Confessor, but was abandoned in 1327.
